Demo round

The registration deadline for the demo round is March 16, 2026. To participate in the competition, you must send a completed registration form by this date.

When registering, please fill out the REGISTRATION FORM and add a link to the video recording on Youtube. The definition of the video must be public or not listed. The form can be filled out electronically on the competition website www.lauluragin.ee.

The 10 choirs that have qualified for the final competition will be announced on the Lauluragina website no later than March 23, 2026. 23. märtsiks 2026.

Final round

The jury will select up to 10 choirs for the final round based on the demos. The finalists will be announced on the competition website by March 23. By March 30, we expect the following information from the finalists to be sent electronically:

• CV (short text introducing the choir)
• · photo of the choir in JPG format 

Programme (for choirs)

At the opening ceremony on April 25, each choir will perform one song of their choice (not from the competition program). Phonograms are allowed. Also, the organizers will provide choirs with piano.

On April 26th, on the day of the choir competition, the choir will perform a program

- the program length is max. 10 minutes, the jury will give minus points for exceeding the time

- 2 songs must be performed (different characters):

1. pop or jazz work of authors from your country in your native language
2. pop or jazz work from world music

NB! One of the two pieces may also be performed a`capella.

Phonograms are not allowed. Choirs can use a piano (provided by organizers).

Evaluation

The choir will be evaluated by an international jury. The competition jury has the right to award additional special prizes.

Participation fees

The participation fee for the final round is 150 euros for the choir and must be paid by April 1, 2026 to the Valga Vallavalitsus account number EE491010202000577004 SEB Bank with the word “Lauluragin” and the name of the choir. Those wishing to pay by invoice should contact the festival producer Kaja Sisask, kaja@valgakultuurikeskus.ee

The organizing committee guarantees the participants in the final round (instructors, musicians) entrance to the Lauluragin competition concerts and festival events.

Demo round

Demovooru registreerimise tähtaeg on 16. märts 2026. Konkursil osalemiseks tuleb selleks kuupäevaks täita elektrooniline registreerimisankeet, mis asub konkursi kodulehel www.lauluragin.ee/en/registration.. Kõik osalejad peavad ankeedis lisama live-salvestuse video, mis on töötlemata ja mitte vanem kui üks aasta.

Iga duett esitab ühe laulu, esitamise keel on vaba. Võimalus on esineda fonogrammi saatel või kasutada saatepille.

Lõppvõistlusele pääsenud duetid avalikustatakse Lauluragina kodulehel hiljemalt 23. märtsiks 2026.

Final round

Lõppvoorus osalejad selguvad demovooru põhjal. Mõlemasse vanusegruppi valitakse võistlema kuni 15 duetti.

25. aprillil toimub konkurss-festivali Lauluragin 2026 avamine ja võistluskontsert vanusegrupile kuni 15 aastased lauljad.

26. aprillil toimub võistluskontsert 16 aastased ja vanemad kategoorias ning mõlema vanusegrupi autasustamine ning konkursi lõpetamine.

Lõppvoorus tuleb igal duetil esitada üks laul vabal valikul. Keelelisi nõudeid ei esitata. Esitus peab olema kahehäälne 50% ulatuses laulust. Laulu pikkus soovituslikult mitte üle 4 minuti.

Täpne info festivali ajakava ja korralduse osas edastatakse finalistidele hiljemalt 1. aprilliks.

Evaluation

Duette hindab professionaalne kolmeliikmeline žürii, kes arvestab musikaalsust, interpretatsiooni, intonatsiooni, artistlikkust, laulu sobivust esitajaile ning annab välja mõlemas kategoorias kuus laureaaditiitlit ja eripreemiaid.

Lõppvoorus osalemise tasu on duetile 40 eurot and this has to be paid by 1. aprilliks 2026 Valga Vallavalitsuse a/a EE491010202000577004 SEB Pank märgusõna “Lauluragin” ja dueti lauljate nimed. Arve alusel tasuda soovijail pöörduda festivali produtsendi Kaja Sisaski poole, kaja@valgakultuurikeskus.ee
